“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,
but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you
see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25

The Bible is really clear that we all have a role to play in encouraging one another to keep living for the Lord Jesus. Primarily we do that as we gather together on a Sunday as the people of God. This gathering together seems to have four particular purposes:
-
To hear and be instructed in God’s word.
-
To praise God and encourage one another through song.
-
To pray for ourselves and others.
-
To be built up in the gospel as we share communion together and baptise new members of the church.

However, if we restrict our understanding of ‘church’ to simply what we do on a Sunday we run the risk of missing out on being fully part of God’s new community, our home groups meet regularly, which not only enables their members to get to know God better through bible study and prayer but facilitate their relationships with one another growing and deepening. Through being part of a small group (8-10 adults) we have the opportunity to really love and encourage one another in Christ and it is the primary way a church can therefore support one another. We cannot ever over estimate how much support we need!

The groups meet regularly in different locations and at different times of day. If you're interested in joining one of our groups please contact us for more information. We'd love you to join us!
